Mona and Josh had great weather karma for their February wedding in beautiful Sonoma at Sebastiani Winery.  They both grew up in California but now call New York home, so coming back to California’s wine country was fun for everyone.  The wedding was intimate and no detail was left undone, including the clever cheese tower “cake.”  Instead of the traditional clinking of glasses to encourage the happy couple to kiss, Mona and Josh announced that their friends and family would have to serenade them in order for any kissing to happen.  Everyone took them up on their offer and the night was filled with lots of singing and merriment.

At the end of last year we took some time off and escaped to Palau.  Here are some images from our incredible trip.

Elizabeth and Dan are both Bay Area natives, so it was fun being in the Oakland Hills for their engagement photos and sharing stories of growing up nearby.  Despite our combined experiences of hiking in the area, we found some beautiful spots that none of us had explored before.  I am looking forward to photographing their wedding later this year in another favorite place, Healdsburg, which is located in the wine country.
