In honor of Mother’s Day, Fearless Photographers has unveiled a collection of fun images of moms at weddings from their Fearless Photographers, which I am proud to be a part of this organization. The lead image is from Kristen and Ian’s wedding from last September.  Check out the Fearless Blog this weekend to see the photos.

I always love an excuse to work with Svenja Brotz of Chestnut & Vine Floral Design.  She’s warm, whimsical and super talented.  Plus her Berkeley barn workshop is really fun to hang out in.  A few months ago I spent some time photographing Svenja in her workspace.

This week in San Francisco, from March 19 to 23, one of Svenja’s floral creations will be featured in the de Young Museum’s Bouquets to Art 2013.  The museum is transformed into a magnificent mash-up of art and flowers when the Bay Area’s most innovative floral designers come together to produce this show. In creating their spectacular floral arrangements, these designers pay tribute to and draw inspiration from the art in the de Young’s permanent collections.
